I won't be posting much only because I don't have the time anymore but I've missed blogging so much that I'm just going to post as of when I can. On that note.. Let's get into today's post!
Me and my bestfriend went to London for the day for some shopping, lunch, cocktails and sightseeing! It was just the perfect girls day we needed as we don't get to see much of each other. We left to head for London at 11 in the morning and got back at 7 in the evening.. we weren't expecting the day to be so long but it was worth the aching feet.
Our first stop was Vapiano, an Italian restaurant well known for their pasta dishes. It was our first time going here and I had heard so much about it so I was excited to try it out.
The set up and atmosphere was lovely! It was nice that you could go up to the chef's, order your food and they make it for you right there and then. It's such a different dining experience and the food matched my expectations! Pasta is one of my favourite foods and I enjoyed every single bit of my meal.. it's definitely the best I've had.
After our lunch we went and did some damage on Oxford street.. *translation* shopping! Honestly, when me and Jasmine get together, it's never good for our bank balances. Considering the weathers getting colder it was so difficult not to buy every jumper in sight but we definitely picked up some good ones.
After a successful shopping trip we decided to get some cocktails. We weren't too sure on where to go as it was a last minute decision so I decided we head to The Rum Kitchen in Carnaby Street as I've heard they do good cocktails. To be honest we've had better cocktails, in fact Jasmine ended up wasting £8 on a cocktail that was so awful.. the description was deceiving! I however, quite enjoyed mine, very simple and sweet. I would love to try out the food there one day, hopefully that will be better lol.
Next we headed to Nottinghill but on our way we came across a MAC store! Of course we had to go in.
And now for some cool photo's taken in Nottinghill. I really do love Nottinghill, especially the cute little quirky streets and colourful houses. I actually didn't realise how much of a touristy place it is, so many people were there just taking photos of the area but I don't blame them! Of course Nottinghill is also famous for the white houses and black gates.
And there you have it! I really had the best day, I haven't had a day out in London in a while. I'll be sharing some outfit photos that Jasmine took of me too, she's a big fan of photography and it was nice having my best friend photograph me! Keep a look out for my next outfit post.
Love Sham x
