An afternoon in Windsor

Just like that.. it's Monday again. I really wish I didn't feel so negative about Monday's but no one wants the weekend to end right? Speaking of the weekend.. I went for lunch with some of my work colleagues to a restaurant in Windsor and of course I had to share it with you guys.

I've heard quite a lot about Brown's so I was really excited to go here for the first time. It's located just outside the town center and over looks the river. Such a nice location and the restaurant itself is lovey!

After a nice glass of Rose, we ordered some food! Me and my manager both went for the same thing which was the char grilled steak sandwich with caramelized onions.. an absolute beauty. The steak was beautifully cooked and it all went together so nicely, I've been thinking about it ever since lol. The menu in general looks good and they do breakfast too.. bonus! It's quality food for a good price. I've already told my mum that we'll be going here for my birthday meal. 

My first time trying an Aperol Spritz! It was nice but I was expecting more.. probably won't order it again but I must say I had the best mojito hands down. It had the right amount of mint, sweetness and it was just so refreshing!

I really enjoy coming to Windsor, it's such a cute little town and I hate that I haven't actually been into Windsor Castle for a tour as I live so close! I enjoy shopping here too.

It was such a nice afternoon spent with my colleagues. We were there from 2 in the afternoon till 6 just talking and laughing! It was our first outing together and we're already planning our next one! Since going into work full time I have been part of such an amazing team and to be able to spend time with outside of work was so much fun.
