Make Up Revolution Party!

So before I even start, let me just say.. I was not ready for this event at all. One of my fellow blogger friends invited me as a plus one, I honestly didn't know what to expect when going to this but I was really looking forward to it as it was my first time attending a make up event.

This venue was just an 18 minute walk from Marylebone train station, which was perfect for me! I remember walking towards this really big building which had pink lights coming out thinking "I wonder if that's where I'm going". I crossed the road and saw a big sign saying "Revolution", I instantly thought to myself, wow. I'd never seen such an entrance and the pictures just don't do it justice.

As we walked into the venue, everything looked so pretty! There was a donut wall, free donuts to take and drinks being served. There was so much alcohol, I was just annoyed I couldn't drink too much because I had work the next morning.

I guess you want to know what exactly this event was about? Well, it was their 4 year anniversary.. can you believe it's already been 4 years!?

There were displays of some of the make up and it was nice to see just how big the variety is and how much the brand has grown. I remember when I first saw Make Up Revolution in Superdrug and honestly the brand has continued to develop and being at this event showed exactly how much this brand has achieved.

Make Up Revolution are releasing their new range this week on the 28th March called Revolution PRO. This will include a wide range of make up such as foundation, eye shadow palettes, lip sticks and many more! It's all so exciting and I know for sure I'll be picking up a few things my self.

The good thing about Make Up Revolution is that its affordable make up yet good quality. You have your luxury make up brands but this brand has such good dupes!

Here's a sneak peak below..

How gorgeous is this eye shadow palette! This palette is already out in stores, now.

This palette was released in collaboration with the a YouTuber called SophDoesNails, I've heard a lot of good things about this palette and am yet to try it myself.

As much as there was some lovely drinks and stunning make up, there was food too!! I was so happy to see some food because I was starving and these little treats were lovely.

Yummy Cosmos!

This was such a highlight of my evening.. I met Patricia Bright! My favourite YouTuber. I couldn't believe she was there and honestly didn't know how to contain my excitement. Patricia Bright is the blogger that inspired me to start blogging and I have been watching her for years. She has been such an inspiration to me and to see how far she's come in this industry is just amazing. Her work ethic is admirable and I look forward to seeing her continue to grow.

She was so friendly and interactive and of course, looked gorgeous!

One thing I really love about these events is that you get to network and meet new people. I met this lovely lady here! Here name is Tatenda (zim girl!) She has a beauty YouTube channel, click here and go show some love and support!

Adam Minto AKA Mister Makeup (the creator and owner) did a speech to thank everyone for attending the event and thanking those who have helped Make Up Revolution become what it is.

I was so happy that I came to this event, I'd never been to such an event before so I felt mesmerized the whole time. Everyone was dressed so pretty and glam, whereas I had come straight to the event from work. Hence why I said earlier, I was not ready for the event at all! It was still nice being in that atmosphere however. At the end of the event, we were given a goody bag with some of their products! I'll be posting a make up look this week with the products so keep a look out.
